KEZIA KINGSTON

CEO & Founder | Healthcare Innovator Entrepreneur | Occupational Therapist

I’m Kezia Kingston
CEO & Founder of Staying Independent, and Occupational Therapist.

I launched Staying Independent as a sole trader in early 2024 with no clients, no staff. and no funding. But a curiosity to find a better way to provide more efficient healthcare for people with a disability.
I quickly scaled it into one of Sydney’s fastest-growing NDIS providers - guided by a core philosophy:

“Improve efficiency, measure outcomes, and save participants funding through collaborative care.”

I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy (research dissertation), postgraduate qualifications in Medical & Health Leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
I've published research, presented internationally, and consult to healthcare companies around improving efficient care systems.

In 2025, I received global recognition including Gold Stevie® Awards for Healthcare Innovation and Healthcare Management across Asia-Pacific, and Global Entrepreneur of the Year - Healthcare.

I hold the exclusive Australian licence for Conover Online, a clinical platform used to assess:

  • Soft skills: social interaction, emotional regulation, communication, motivation, and workplace readiness

  • Hard skills: time management, money handling, transportation, functional academics, job task execution

I am also the founder of LearnAble™, the world’s first AI platform designed specifically for people with a cognitive disability. LearnAble addresses long-standing barriers to technology access for people with intellectual disability, autism, ADHD, brain injury, stroke, schizophrenia, and dementia - extending Staying Independent’s outcomes-focused approach into technology.
