We didn’t accept the current NDIS service model.
We rebuilt it around efficiency and outcomes.

A woman with short brown hair, wearing a sleeveless cream-colored ribbed top and loose cream-colored trousers, sitting on a cabinet with her legs crossed, writing in a small notebook with a black pen against a plain white wall background.

What started as one clinician challenging the system became an international award winning NDIS provider.

Kezia Kingston, founder of Staying Independent, saw what was not working within the current NDIS model.

Slow systems. Disconnected services. Participants waiting while providers operated in silos. It was not just inefficient - it was broken, so she built something different.

From day one, Staying Independent was designed to challenge the way disability
support is delivered.

No silos.
No unnecessary delays.
No “that is not my job.”

Just aligned teams, clear outcomes, and better support.

We only take referrals when we have the right therapist or support worker, we have capacity, and the expertise to deliver the service properly.

We hire our team with intention. We don’t need generalists. We look for people who have an interest in our areas of expertise - cognitive disability and adolescents and young adults.

What Makes Us Different.

We are the Most Awarded Healthcare Provider in Asia-Pacific (2025) at the
International Stevie® Business Awards.
