    With dual qualifications in healthcare and business, including Master of Occupational Therapy (with research dissertation), she combines clinical expertise with entrepreneurial execution.
    Her healthcare strategy work has earned international recognition, including multiple global awards, and she has presented her research on the international stage.

    As Strategy & Growth Manager, she oversees contractor engagement, supports operational development, and helps shape the long-term direction and culture of Staying Independent as we continue to scale with purpose.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Amy is an experienced occupational therapist with a passion for supporting adolescents and young adults through key life transitions. As Support Services Lead, she manages the implementation of our frontline care - including rostering, coordination, and operational delivery - to ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality support that aligns with Staying Independent’s outcomes-first model.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Rachel is a skilled occupational therapist who works with both children and adults to achieve long-term, practical outcomes. She supports participants in building independence, function, and meaningful daily progress. Rachel provides care both in-person and via Telehealth, and is highly experienced in delivering remote therapy — offering a unique ability to reach individuals who may otherwise have limited access to services.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Leigh is a skilled occupational therapist who supports participants with complex needs through holistic, person-centred strategies. She brings strong clinical insight and practical problem-solving to her work, helping individuals build meaningful independence in daily life.
    Leigh has also completed specialist training in lymphedema management, further enhancing her ability to support clients with diverse physical health needs.

With training in incidental counselling and extensive experience working with older adults, Sue delivers compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s goals and strengths.
